Thailand is quickly becoming a reality..

Dec. 30, 2010

Well our tickets are booked, and it surely has taken a lot of prayer to get down to purchasing them!!

It hasn't been procrastination per se, but I think our perceived ticket cost was a lot lower than the actual ticket cost ended up being.  In the last week Luke struggled with the actual clicking of the payment button because he felt they should have been cheaper.  After much prayer, tea, and biscuits (and research into unknown airlines), it just took a leap of faith in the area of finances...  but...  we now have them.  The tickets we bought were about $2500 total, from London, Heathrow to Bangkok,  Suvarnabhumi International (extra points for correct punctuation).  They were among the cheapest we found, apart from a small sacrifice for a nicer itinerary, but now that they are booked we can focus on the task ahead.  We leave January 8th and return to England February 27th. We are unsure from March onward how our future looks, though we believe that God will reveal more when HE wants us to know.

Our time here in England has been sweet, yet we are excited for our new adventure as a family to begin!

Please see our prayer requests on our front page in how you can be praying for us in this time.

A BIG thank you for reading our blog and wanting to follow us in our adventures! Feel free to comment here or e-mail us with questions. We are told the comments haven't been working, but we think we have it figured out.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

  1. Hi there dear ones!
A Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to you! What a wondeful blog site (now that we finally got to checking it out!). The video of Abby brought us to laughter and tears! We are very excited for you as you journey on this adventure with the Lord. We pray that this trip will be revealing His will and you will be sensitive to hear his leading and guidance. We love you!
