Beating the Heat
There are three yearly seasons here in Thailand: Hot, Cool, and Rainy. We are now in what's called the "cool season" (November to February), and it has been relatively cool by Thailand's standards: daily highs in the 90's F (low 30's C) with high humidity. But temperatures are rising as we come to the end of the cool season and into the "hot season". Back-packs cover back-sweat when we're out, and our house gets too hot for the girls to stay inside all day long. As a result, we have searched for and found a nearby hotel that allows us to swim for 50 Baht/day ($1.33) and children for free. Here are some photos and videos of us "beating-the-heat" in various ways...
I must admit, unfortunately, this was Nathanael's invention.
Soap and water... this is our front yard by the way.
