visa renewed!

"...but GOD meant it for good..."

We were not looking forward to the long journey or the expense.  Yesterday when blogging about the trip ahead, I wrote in a rough draft that I saw it only as an inconvenience and unnecessary expense. Before posting though, I realized that GOD may have something in it for us, and prayed that HE would somehow be glorified by it...  I believe HE was.

We were collected at around 6:45am from near our house, and returned back around 2:30pm... sure was a flying trip! Our driver seemed to feel comfortable with his right foot pressed all the way down on the accelerator for the majority of the time.. we both agreed that the center line in the road was more of a rough guide to drivers than an enforced law to not cross.

We expected a loud uncomfortable bus, but were blessed with a comfortable 9 seater van.  We were delighted to get front row seats, and were able to recline with our feet up, a big bonus for Sarah with her increasing mid-section! :)

There were only 3 other passengers, all German, so even with the Thai driver we enjoyed a private heart-to-heart in English while Abby napped on and off. It was a blessed time to talk and process our time here. We were able to process what GOD has been doing in our hearts and where we feel He is leading us as a family.  Seems easy to let time go by without a chance to hear how each other is really doing.

snack time, and chilling in our comfy ride for 7 hours.

"hello Cambodia"

Abigail making a Cambodian friend to ensure she can always return..

A stop on the trip for some food'.. enjoying our cold refreshing sparkling waters!
